Accolades I.T. Consulting is seeking a talented Software Sales Engineer with a proven track record of hands-on selling and sales management. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, personable, self-motivated, extremely professional and polished. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities, developing a market strategy, and designing a sales process design. The Sales Engineer will
manage the pipeline and opportunities in partnership with strategic vendors and manufacturers, as well as have extensive knowledge of channel operations and deal registration programs to maximize profitability.
Requirements:
Candidates must have sales experience which includes lead generation, forecasting, territory management, pipeline management, sales methodology, and CRM systems. Candidates must also have expert working knowledge of Microsoft systems and ability to present and close based on technology-spend justification. 3-5+ years of successful sales experience in the IT Systems arena with a VAR is desired. Candidates must be results oriented, have high energy, a strong work ethic, and be highly motivated to sell. This person will understand the client base and be able to continually prospect new business opportunities. Candidates must have entrepreneurial drive and spirit. This person must be a strong leader, excellent communicator, a collaborator, and a team builder. Exceptional presentation and writing skills are required. This person will grow the business through new sales and up-selling activities including RFPs. This person will cultivate/maintain key client relationships.
Desired Skills and Prerequisites:
- 3+ years technical enterprise sales experience
- Experience in solution sales
- Ability to collaborate with and motivate multiple groups toward accomplishing a task
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality - Proven track record of selling services as part of a solution
- Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to make it better
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
- Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
- Strong listening and question based selling skills
- Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges
- Experience with enterprise applications, software, start-up, and business continuity solutions a plus
- Experience with selling/presenting Web based software solutions
- Ability to travel as necessary
- BS or equivalent required

- Sell professional services consistently as part of a total solution
- Define and implement a solution oriented go-to-market strategy for each named account to ensure technical adoption of solutions
- Build and leverage strong enterprise partner relationships
- Identify new customer projects for solutions
- Present vision, strategy and product road-maps to executives and technical management
- Drive the adoption of solutions within strategic accounts moving current installations from departmental to enterprise
