Local hospital seeking a Director/VP of Business Development to join our management team.  He/she will create innovative business development strategies, form sustainable relationships within the medical community and lead the effort to achieve census objectives with the appropriate payor mix by developing effective census producing strategies.  

Qualified candidates will possess, at a minimum:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a health related field is required.  Master’s degree preferred. 
-  5+ years of professional/community resource development and sales with experience for a hospital.  Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements.   
- Strong physician relations and communication skills. 

- Additional experience should include experience in performing market assessments and in working with a variety of marketing, financial and utilization data. 
- Proven leadership ability
- Previous experience at a manager level is strongly preferred.
