The Opportunity
The Opportunity:
Use your account management and sales experience to expand our relationships with our business partners in the commercial sector. This is a challenging opportunity to identify and develop relationships with new high potential partners and continue to advance relationships with existing partners.

Responsibilities
Actively seek business relationships and sales opportunities with potential and existing business partners.
Manage and facilitate engagement with partners and the commercial sales team, aligning the needs of the sales team with needs of partners to capture direct and indirect business.
Manage a direct and indirect book of business for those partners within the commercial sector.
Recruit and develop business partners based on technology, industry, and geographic needs.
Assist business partners in defining/refining their organizations business and product or services plan as they relate to ESRI.
Working with the commercial sector leadership team, develop the business partner strategy for the commercial sector.
Create annual business plans with top business partners in the commercial sector.
Attend key events to recruit business partners, interact with existing business partners, and support the overall marketing/sales efforts of ESRI.
Implement policies and procedures of the ESRI Business Partner Program.


Requirements
Bachelors or masters in business administration, marketing, management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, depending on position level.
Proven ability to lead virtual teams across multiple organizations, including both ESRI and business partner resources.
Three or more years of experience selling enterprise software, either in a direct or channel sales capacity.
Proven experience negotiating agreements that satisfy all parties.
Experience managing sales staff.
Experience creating and managing sales and development plans at multiple levels including individual partners, national accounts, and across industries.


Recommended Qualifications
Solid account management and project management skills.
Be self motivated and have experience building long term relationships.
Ability to establish credibility with management and technical personnel.
Ability to grasp the big picture vision across a wide range of industries.
Be sensible, but creative about crafting business models.
Proactive perseverance and follow through.
Ability to concurrently manage several dissimilar projects across disciplines.
Knowledge of commercial sector business.
