Job Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated & experienced individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to join our US Business Development Team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in chemistry and work experience in PharmaChem development and/or CRO/CMO-related business development areas. Ability to work independently within a team environment is a must.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Provide timely & world-class services & solutions to Pharma clients

-          Manage and expand business and relationship with existing clients

-          Prospecting and cold calling to uncover and develop new opportunities

-          Generate sales quotations, including the creation and delivery of proposals

-          Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas

-          Work closely with our China operations group to ensure client expectations are met

-          Participate in trade shows & conferences such as CPhI & Informex

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

-          Ability to provide world-class services to clients

-          Ability to develop excellent rapport with various clients

-          Excellent oral and written communication skills

-          Attention to accuracy and detail

-          Ability to work independently and in a team environment

-          Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, occasional oversea traveling, occasional night/weekend meetings with China operation group

-          BS/MS/PhD in chemistry with 2+ years of work experience, preferably in the pharma-chem or business development areas (job title and compensation pending on education & experience level)

 

Compensation:            Base Salary + Commission
