Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available opportunity for a Manager, Business Development in our Wireless Innovation Business Group. The position can be located in any major U.S. city located near a large metropolitan airport.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
• Individual contributor who, through coordinated efforts with Wireless Innovations Group (WIG) Sales, leads business development activities focus on identifying and qualifying new project, markets, and customers in the in-building arena through competitive intelligence and assessments, strategic partnering, channel coordination and building relationships with the wireless service providers and other new customers. This individual will also be responsible for developing and implementing in-building wireless sales objectives for the public safety marketplace, which includes working with Major OEM to obtain WIG products approval. Development of strategic partners and system integrators (SP/SI) and other alternative sales channels. Direction for marketing and promotional activities as related to WIG in the territory. Develop and Manage the Major Turn-Key Projects opportunities and business for Wireless Innovations. This individual will be the architect of all “Front-End” business for WIG, including all coordination efforts with WIG sales allowing the business unit to focus on the execution, operation and profitability of projects and new product development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Coordinate sales activities for WIG projects with WIG sales. Direct, Manage, and Measure activities of WIG sales, Strategic Partners and System Integrator channels to provide monthly updates of progress and suggest any corrective actions. Performance will be measured on meeting total business order plan in the assigned territory or specific accounts.
• Qualify all new in-building opportunities prior to involvement of Project resources. Performance will be measured on success ratio, number of operators purchasing projects, and value of profitability of project.
• Develop Marketing and Sales Strategies to penetrate new customers and customer categories. Assists and/or conducts sales presentations/meetings through joint sales calls.
• Report on competitive and market trends. Performance will be measured on availability of accurate projections of market price, competitor share, and WIG’s market share for services

• Demonstrated ability to regularly contact, influence and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issues.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• 30% - 50% travel required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field required.
• Minimum 7+ years of combined experience in customer/partnership and business development.
• Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills required.
• Must be capable of solving complex business problems.
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills required.
