Job Description:


Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced sales and business development manager whose primary role will be to train and interact with the HP’s sales teams and channel partners as the Mellanox subject matter expert in order to promote increased sales of Mellanox-based solutions to end-user customers in the enterprise datacenter and HPC markets worldwide.  The BDM will be expected to maintain extensive contact with end-users and HP sales personnel in order to develop, close and refresh a multi-million dollar sales pipeline for Mellanox solutions. The BDM will make frequent joint sales calls with HP and their partners via phone conferences, WebEx presentations and in-person visits, create and execute sales strategies, identify and remove barriers to sales, deliver sales trainings, and develop and participate in sales promotional events.  The BDM will also have frequent technical interaction with HP product marketing teams and architecture teams to identify areas for embedding Mellanox solutions and drive the business case and requirements back to Mellanox product management team.


 


Requirements


·         10+ years experience selling networking solutions into HPC and EDC markets and demonstrable success in developing and closing significant business at major enterprises in the financial, oil & gas, manufacturing, Web2.0 datacenters, and federal sectors.


·         Strong technical and sales acumen in the area of server interconnects and storage.


·         Current and relevant relationships within HP’s direct sales organization.


·         Working knowledge of HP partner business channel and current contacts with HP channel organization.


·         Strong time management, prioritization skills, and disciplined work ethic to successfully work remotely and unsupervised.


·         Excellent customer service and public relations skills


·         Strong verbal, written communication, and proven technical and sales presentation skills


·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully at many levels within an organization.


·         Project professional company image


·         Extensive travel may be required
