We are currently recruiting for Business Development Managers in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
Job overview:
Find, sell and close new services and business development opportunities. This is a true 'hunter' position with expectations of following established metrics guidelines in order to achieve results. Qualified individual will personally develop prospects, business developments and opportunity pipeline. This is a highly visible and dynamic sales position. Must possess an understanding of client's business environment, key business drivers, and tracking changing business trends. Must have experience selling products in a re-seller environment (VAR), as well as product related services, software licensing and enterprise based solutions. Partners include HP, IBM, Dell, Gateway, Microsoft, Symantec, McAfee, Cisco, Toshiba, Lexmark, etc. Vertical market sales experience would include: Healthcare, Financial Services, Communications, Manufacturing, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, and High Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organize an ongoing sales strategy derived from the defined revenue and profit targets provided by Bell's management. Develop and penetrate defined corporate customers for Bell through development and execution of appropriate sales strategies resulting in the delivery of revenue ahead of plan. Build, communicate and execute territory and account plans year-round, while becoming a trusted business advisor to the client. Analyze the client needs and interests and manage client satisfaction issues. Ensure strong, effective market share of the products and services by providing direction and information on the products and applications and related services and be capable of effectively contrasting them from the competition.
Summary:
Responsible for generating leads, sales presentations, and identifying opportunities. Assist with proposal creation, closing contracts and maturing established accounts. Attend trade shows and conventions.
Ideal candidate is a Self Starter who is able to work independently in a fast paced and rapidly growing business environment.

Experience:
3-5 years selling IT Products and Solutions in an IT Consultative and/or Re-seller environment.
Good Technical understanding of the IT industry in the areas of
Networks/Products/Professional Services
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
