Business Development Managers (CPG experience required)
Key Job Responsibilities : | The Business Development Manager identifies, evaluates and manages new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives to create demand. This position will require 50 -60% domestic travel. The Business Development Manager is normally an Individual Contributor, though this position may manage a small staff in support of an assigned area. •Be the driving force behind the development of new business in the packaging marketplace by driving PS adoption. •Assist clients in determining packaging design and type of product they may require. Understand and implement our suite of client focused value added tools. Identify and evaluate entirely new business prospects for consideration that fit within the vision and capabilities of the business. Position Requirements : | • Minimum 5-7 years business relevant business development/marketing/sales experience in a CPG environment (Packaging, Beverage, Home Personal Care or Food industry).
• A rounded understanding of the Food/packaging industry, including competing products and materials; product knowledge and understanding of the physical properties of different types of printing and labeling materials; and an understanding of substrate and converting aspects – flexo, gravure and off-set printing and finishing processes. •Proven record of developing and maintaining profitable business in a competitive market.
