Business Development Manager for verykool USA, Division



Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with potential customers using mainstream along with alternative sales channels. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in business development and knowledge of the Latin America region and mobile industry. Candidate must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a growing organization with an expanding customer and product base. Must possess strong presentation and analytical skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to e-mails, RFPs, and submitting reports. Applicant needs to be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles and customer issues through creative and adaptive approaches. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected


Job Description & Duties




  • Responsible for the development of new market channels for the company’s line of mobile phones, taking advantage of market dynamics and changes in the end-customer fulfillment process.

  • Responsible for understanding of market and industry trends and processes, and formulating the strategic implication of these changes to the sales process.
  • Assists in identifying needs, positioning products and services effectively and selling to customers
  • Helps to manage complex projects and see them through to successful completion and follow-up sales
  •  Creates new offerings, opportunities and/or potential refinements to existing offerings to increase sales penetration and revenue in alternative channels
  • Manages existing distribution business through a set of established parameters regarding inventory levels, sales turns and forecast development and achievement.

Qualifications



  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Must be bilingual English and Spanish with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Emphasis in customer-facing roles including business development, sales and marketing preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems                              
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify and build the required fact base to support project work, business cases, including leveraging a wide variety of internal and external sources
  • Well developed presentation skills including the ability to present and articulate complex analytical information in a straightforward manner extensive client presentations at a senior level will be expected
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a ¨peer¨ with the sales team
  • Proactive self starter with an ability to manage own and others priorities and adapt as required to an unstructured and fast paced work environment
  • Experience with value quantification such as business case development ideal
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally
  • Detail oriented with sound business judgment
  • Able to work across teams with excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with HTML, website publishing, and database management
  • Global experience in a multicultural environment
