TCS is looking for a Business Development Manager with 10-15 years experience in Business Development specifically selling IT Services or Solutions to Large Clients in Retail/CPG vertical in the SouthEast Region. The position is a pure “Hunter” role so the candidate should have played a “Hunter” role in the past. The position is an individual contributor role and the candidate would be expected to own a revenue target within the range of $30 - $50M per year.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
· Achieving the assigned sales target by closing new accounts and actively helping to build long term profitable executive level business relationships in specified region
· Clearly articulating benefits as they relate to customers business needs to generate additional sales revenue on an ongoing basis.
· Gathering relevant information and accurately assessing customer concerns and other market trends to provide meaningful inputs to management and actively contribute to the decision making process.
· Successfully positioning TCS as a market leader in specified vertical
Qualifications:
· Either Sales / Consulting/ Hi-Tech Practice field with a big 5 consulting firm
· Contacts and Strong relationship with the CTO level in the Retail/CPG space
· In-depth knowledge of the IT Industry / IT Trends / Business Challenges
· Proven selling experience in software services
· Experience in dealing with an onsite-offshore environment
· Strong Executive Level Relationship Building skills
· Strong Communication, Interpersonal and Analytical Skills
· Tenacity to stay on course with a plan to achieve results.
· Strong ability to communicate plans for results with customers and management
