Business Development Manager

Rivera Consulting Group, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, as well as SBA 8(a)-certified Small and Disadvantaged Business.  RCG is looking for a highly skilled Business Development professional to contribute to the continuing growth of the Federal Government in the Louisville, KY and greater Southern Indiana area.  The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and capturing large-scale new business opportunities, specifically within the Department of Defense (DOD).  The Business Development Manager must be experienced in the writing and reviewing of quality documents and proposals produced in accordance with company and federal standards.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

·         This person must have extensive experience in writing large-scale government proposals, specifically within the DOD business sector.  

·         Must be experienced with all aspects of proposal analysis and development processes

·         Must have a proven track record in demonstrating the ability to write and produce successful proposals, this requires superior verbal and written communication skills.

·         Coordinate and participate in all aspects of the proposal development process.

·         Experience capturing business using 8(a) and/or SDVOSB contract vehicles.

·         Ensure proposal submissions are compliant with applicable RFP/RFI instructions.

·         Ensure the development and compilation of information from operational and functional elements and subject matter experts to develop successful proposals.

·         Manage proposal efforts using project management techniques to ensure scope, cost and schedule requirements are met.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of the DOD market

BS/BA Degree required, MS/MBA is preferred

US citizenship and capable of receiving and holding a security clearance

Excellent communication and planning skills
