Position Description:
Responsible for the sale of interface modules and flex circuits to new and existing MFLEX customers. Develops business plans for designated market segments and strategic customers. Develops partnerships/relationships with key decision makers at the highest level of customer organizations to maximize opportunities for strategic alliances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Both independently and with the direction of the VP of Sales and Marketing and other resources as appropriate, prospect for new customers that meet the organization’s strategic initiatives.
· Research customer organizations and analyze market data to identify key decision makers and strategic business needs in relation to MFLEX solutions. Identify MFLEX champions and key stake holders at customer organizations.
· Develop strategic direction from market information and other business intelligence to create a compelling value propositions.
· Develop and monitor relationships with key decision makers, at the highest level, within customer organizations. Ensure that the customer relationship “pulse” is measured and communicate status on an ongoing basis.
· Works in partnership with MFLEX Program Management, Operations, and Technology/Corporate Development management teams to ensure strategic objectives and customer requirements are met and/or addressed.
· Attend relevant industry events to stay abreast of current market trends and to network with future potential customers.
· Requires international and national travel up to 50%.
· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Experience/Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering or other related field.
· Six to eight years experience performing in a comparable position.
· Solid technical background in FCB, hardware or component sales technology comparable to MFLEX and Pelikon product lines.
Required Skills:
· Demonstrated track record of achieving results that promote business success.
· Technical knowledge, preferably engineering with electronic packaging experience and supply chain knowledge within the electronics industry.
· Must be comfortable discussing technical subjects with engineers, concepts at the product design stage with product designers, as well as sourcing issues with procurement.
