With hundreds of companies across 21 industries worldwide, I-many is enabling businesses to manage the entire contract life cycle, from pre-contract processes and contract management to active compliance, contract optimization, demand channel visibility and control.

 

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (Telemarketer/Telesales) to report to the VP, Global Marketing and be responsible for the lead generation and qualification process for a growing sales force. Ideal candidate should be motivated, aggressive and utilize their cold calling skills to help secure new clients and ensure customer retention and growth.  Qualified appointment setting will be instrumental to the management of this program.  The BDM will also provide telemarketing support to the Marketing team by mining for new contacts, interviews/surveys and research to help build the corporate database.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Manage internal  telemarketing programs to generate leads for sales force
  • Produce qualified leads in multiple vertical industries
  • Cold call persistently and provide lead follow-up
  • Communicate  with customer  base to cross sell/up sell
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns, direct mail,  web,  events and other sources
  • Obtain key contacts and mapping out a company’s infrastructure/decision tree
  • Foster close relationship and interaction with sales management and sales
  • Event recruitment
  • Report and track leads generated

 

EDUCATION AND/OR REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

·         3+ years of telemarketing/telesales experience  with strong oral, communication and cold calling skills

·         Proficiency in a CRM system such as Salesforce.com

·         Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e.: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).

·         Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy, results oriented environment with enthusiasm, flexibility and a can-do attitude.

  • Knowledge of pharma industry would be a plus but not required
