About Our Client • The wireless market segment is a key market share growth opportunity for the company. The Wireless Business Development Manager will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and the servicing of existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. • Products include service assurance and test & measurement communication solutions that can be positioned together for creative and business impacting solutions for the wireless service providers. • You will position the value proposition for our client’s full system solution at the executive levels and lay the groundwork for continued understanding of the company’s credibility and value to the wireless marketplace. • In this unique role you will be integrated into Sales and Marketing Operations planning process for all US based sales operations – joint strategy sessions to gain agreement on strategies, ownership of action items, etc • You will assist the Territory, Account, and Solution Sales Teams to identify and position creative solutions value proposition to differentiate your company from competition early in the customer life cycle • The BDM will partner with the company’s Carrier and NEM’s sales teams as well as the CTO office to advance the company’s strategy in the wireless marketplace • You’ll establish and maintain valuable relationships with wireless industry influencers and key strategic partners • Driving wireless test value propositions thru the WIN team environment with the support and engagement of PLM teams will become one of your responsibilities • You will also be responsible for delivering KPI’s outlined in the company’s organizational initiatives • An entrepreneurial spirit that will insist on technology creativity, a unique understanding of leading edge wireless technologies like LTE, 4G, WiMax, FemtoCell, etc. And a unique understanding of your customers operational and financial “pain points” • Possess leadership qualities and great interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work in team environments and lead others without direct management responsibilities. • Self starter and the ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels across the globe (including peripheral organizations within our client) • Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to work in overlay sales structure • Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); MBA preferred • Pertinent experience: At least ten (10) years of sales and/or business development experience in the wireless market space • Ability to travel up to 50% • Language requirements: English written and spoken
