Brief Description of Role:
As a Business Development Officer, you will prospect for new custody and trading services by recruiting Advisors Turning Independent from the Wirehouse, Independent Broker Dealer or Trust Bank channels and fee-based independent investment advisors with a minimum of $25MM in assets under management.  We are looking for motivated aggressive sales professionals with financial services experience and knowledge of this geographic area.

Technical/Functional Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self starter; and have a proven ability to exceed quarterly goals as set by the company.  Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience, Series 7 and 63 licenses and a minimum of 5 years of proactive sales experience in the financial services industry.  You will have demonstrated ability to manage complicated B2B sales situations.
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, comprehensive industry knowledge, comfortable with new relationships and cold calling opportunities.  Must have substantial knowledge of competitor's products, services, sales tactics and weaknesses.
