and tax credits and incentives. Pay reporting services include electronic time capture, paperless pay, and W-2 management.
Compliance services include employment and income verifications through The Work Number, unemployment tax management, and
I-9 management.
Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative assists the pan Regional Sales Managers with the identification and development of new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for lead generation through prospecting including cold-calling, networking at trade shows or user meetings, relationship building with our business partners and other marketing efforts.
- Identify and prospect key decision makers within existing and prospective corporate customers in order to generate interest in new and extended applications for pan's products and services.
- Assist Field Sales team in securing information for pricing, including competitive analysis, financial documentation, and prospective customer profiles.
- Coordinate communication with prospective and existing customers to determine customer needs.
- May attend field sales calls at request of Regional Sales Manager or VP of Sales.
- Utilize the prospect database (SalesLogix) to develop potential leads as well as works with field sales reps to develop new prospects based on information from web meetings, trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Become familiar with prospective clients within assigned territory. Make lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and introduce products and services. Coordinate and create communications about pan products and services specific to customer needs and ensures consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process.
- Work with marketing and field sales team coordinating special sales programs/seminars/campaigns. Responsible for documenting customer interest and maintaining accuracy of SalesLogix database relative to prospects and clients within territory. Extensive use of system for database marketing campaigns.
- Create and execute follow-up sales and marketing activities.
- Collect key data from prospects for pricing analysis.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Work with SalesLogix data to create industry comparison reports and industry analysis reports. Set up list of key accounts by industry and employee count, and assists Regional Sales Managers in introducing pan services to these organizations.
- Assist with the creation of sales proposals, including attachments, analysis, customer references, and exhibits.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years experience in lead generation/business development position with a successful track record
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
- Perform job independently and possessing a can do attitude
- Demonstrate experience in lead generation
- Exemplary communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal, phone and email skills are critical for success in this position
- Ability to listen, comprehend, read, learn and retain regulations and procedures
- Ability to introduce, articulate and implement new ideas and solutions
- Strong internet skills and aptitude to learn all aspects of recommending on-line assessments used for employment screening and leadership development
- Must be able to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to connect with prospects and customers via phone and e-mail
- Ability to work in team environment
- Well formulated, grammatically correct written correspondence
Computer Skills Required:
- PC literate with knowledge of various software applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
