Business Development Representative

About the Job

Style Crest Enterprises, a privately held manufacturer and distributor of Building Products, has an excellent career opportunity available for a motivated sales person in the Ft. Worth area.  This role is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the existing account base as well as identifying prospects and converting these prospects into new customers.  The activities of a Business Development Representative include (but are not limited to):


 



  • Calls on major accounts & prospects in person, on a regular basis, with the purpose of generating sales and developing & maintaining relationships.

  • Acts as the liaison between the customer and Style Crest by interacting with various internal departments.  Ensures that issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Develops a strategic plan for the territory.  Forecasts sales within the territory and meets or exceeds the forecast.

  • Demonstrates to customers how to install and service Style Crest products and explains Style Crest procedures.

  • Ensures credit applications and requested financials are properly completed and sent in for processing.

  • Submits quarterly Top 25 Account & Prospect reports.  Executes the plans developed while generating these reports to increase sales.  Submits weekly activity and expense reports timely.

  • Assists credit in maintaining accounts receivables and assists in collection of any outstanding balances. 

  • Represents Style Crest in a professional and ethical manner.

 


Qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: 




  • Demonstrated sales success working in the Manufactured Housing industry.


  • Ability to strategically plan and execute on sales forecasts and business plans.


  • Understands market trends and the implications of those trends.


  • Proficient computer knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


  • Strong reasoning and decision making skills with the ability to deal with multiple issues and details at once.


  • Proven negotiation, persuasiveness, and communication skills.


  • Should live within 100 miles of the Ft. Worth area and be willing to travel up to 4 nights a week.
