About the Job

Retail Sales Manager

 

Dynamic, rapidly-growing Long Island manufacturer and wholesale/retail sales company needs your sales and business development experience to contribute to the strategic development and growth of our organization. You will be responsible for the company’s business development activities The successful candidate will have a history of building new client relationships, maintaining excellent customer service, and surpassing targets.

 

If you have exceptional sales management skills; a positive can-do attitude; enjoy a team environment that prides itself on excellent quality and customer service; and creative problem solving skills, you may qualify for this position.

 

Experience and Essential Duties:

 

·        Five (5) years in Retail Home Improvement and Building Supplies with at least three (3) years management experience;

·        A Bachelor’s  Degree from an accredited College ort University, preferably in a business or psychology discipline;

·        Ability to travel to each branch and to customer locations;

·        Coordinates and is responsible for the compilation and attainment of Sales Forecasts;

·        Expand the current client base and identify new market segments to optimize the utilization of company resources and capabilities;

·        Develop marketing plans and programs for targeted market segments to increase business development opportunities;

·        Implement business development strategies consistent with company growth and profit goals;

·        Develop and lead an internal sales team to achieve established sales and business development opportunities;

·        Expand and diversify the current client base to broaden company exposure in markets currently serviced;

·        Participate in internal project planning and evaluation meetings to enhance overall company performance.
