Business Intelligence Developer


 


General Responsibilities:            


 


The BI Developer is responsible for development of Business Intelligence (BI) reports and ETL scripts. The BI Developer participates throughout the project life cycle, from requirements to post production support, with emphasis on development and testing of analytic reports and tools.


 


Primary Responsibilities:


 




  • SQL 2005 development and administration in a data warehouse environment


  • ETL development (T-SQL)


  • MicroStrategy development and administration


  • Develop new project objects including creating new attributes and identifying the proper relationships, creating facts and metrics and creating user defined reports


  • Create and maintain technical documentation

  


Qualifications/Requirements:


 


·         2 – 3 Years experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence


·         2 – 3 years of SQL server 2005 experience


·         1 – 2 years of MicroStrategy report development


·         Strong analytical skills to facilitate troubleshooting and interacting with business analysts


·         Highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and a team player


·         Erwin data modeling experience a plus


 


Education Requirements:


 




  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
