Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
 
Partner with the Management team, Planners, Merchants and Operations team driving and maximizing reporting and data mining.
 
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Develop and generate daily/weekly reports. Publish in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the White House I Black Market Merchandising, Operations and Managements teams to develop, run and maintain ad hoc reports. Provide data and share observations or recommendations.
  • Engage the SAP report development team in developing and validating reports.
  • Engage the business to provide in-season and post-season analytics designed to recap and guide future decision making. Participate in Hindsight meetings as well as MBR sessions to learn about business issues and to develop new reports to meet emerging ideas.
  • Dig into master data elements and provide analytics relating to attributes by article and site. Partner with Strategic Planning to generate directional reporting.
  • Monitor Master Data unassigned issues. Follow-up with the Master Data team and develop strategies to improve data integrity.
  • Participate in MIS initiatives to expand BI functionality and improve database integrity.
  • Partner with the Strategic Planner to recap OTB and week of supply call-outs (turn). Challenge the Merchants and Planners to improve sales and stock deficiencies.
  • Help the Allocation and Replenishment team to monitor and revise targets. Generate weekly OOS reports by store and the DC. Challenge the organization to improve in-stock rates. Call out constrained inventory items or potential obsolescence.
  • Partner with the Planning team on managing the Monthly Business Review (MBR) process with the development of reports of sales, markdown, receipts and inventory forecasts.
  • Be a partner to Senior Management in leading White House I Black Market.
  • Travel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
·         4 year College Degree preferred
·         Minimum 5-7 years prior retail experience, preferably in an Apparel Specialty Store environment, with significant hands-on experience using databases or report writers
