Governance, Risk & Controls (GR&C) is responsible to align Retirement Plan Services Technology with J.P.Morgan, Investment Management and  Retirement Plan Services strategies by developing and monitoring processes, procedures and reporting. GR&C provides oversight and facilitates change towards better, more efficient and effective Technology products.
 
The team is looking for a technically skilled and experienced individual with strong financial and data analysis skills to drive initiatives that are directly related to day-to-day, month-over-month, and annual performance of the RPS Technology Department. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to collaborate well with teams, individual contributers and with all levels of management. Under limited supervision, the Business Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring relevant data is available and gathered, then analyzing and reporting the data in a meaningful manner to influence and support appropriate business processes and efficiencies. Provide processes, support, and reporting to enable RPS to achieve it's Technology goals.
 
This position's responsibilities will include work across most, if not all, RPS Technology Business Management areas, with likely focus on:

  • Leading the RPS Technology project accounting initiative, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Providing oversight and reporting of compliance to process and standards for Technology projects.

  • Recommending specific changes to enhance analysis and drive desired change throughout organization.

  • Knowledge management and communications between and within Investment Management, RPS Technology and RPS.

  • Analyzing data and reports highlighting developing trends and issues.

  • Design and generation of reports, graphs and templates for metrics and performance reporting.

  • Creating administrative policies, procedures, and user guides.


Position Requirements:The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills, good business and financial acumen; be proficient in standard and customized office software and reporting applications, and analytical techniques. The candidate must also be a self starter, with strong initiative, drive and self-motivation and good follow through skills; must be able to work independently. Must have ability to understand complex issues and develop solutions. Knowledge of J.P. Morgan systems helpful, but not required. A degree in Finance, Business Management or Information Systems desireable along with 7+ years of related experience.
