Business Manager
Scenic Charleston, SC area GI practice seeks an experienced individual with in-depth operational and billing experience. Immediate tasks will be researching a new computer system with EMR capabilities and ensuring daily procedures of the Billing Dept. function efficiently. Must have experience identifying trends/problems in reimbursement and denials and problem solving for solutions. Extensive knowledge of insurance and keeping abreast of payer guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements are required. Other responsibilities include developing policies and procedures for the department, monitoring monthly reports as requested, managing various personnel and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be a strong leader with 5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Strong communication and computer skills are necessary. This position reports to the CEO.
