Keane currently seeks a Solutions Architect with Business Objects experience to join our team in Boston. The primary function of this newly created position is to implement strategic enterprise business intelligence initiatives on the Business Objects platform. The BO Solution Architect will be responsible for the design, deployment and performance tuning of the Business Objects tools suite including the following; Voyager, Xcelsius, InfoView, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Data Integrator to support strategic BI projects. The Architect will design and enhance existing Datawarehouse/datamarts, develop universes to support Dashboards, reports and views for Corporate financial and HR applications as well as support the design and development of various related ETL systems from the Datawarehouse and enterprise source systems JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop strategy for future state business intelligence & reporting on Business Objects platform. • Lead technical teams in the architecture of various enterprise level BI solution initiatives. • Redesign current BI environment to enhance efficiencies, integrity, information quality and multidimensional capabilities to scale to meet strategic Corporate services needs. • Facilitate integration of multiple ERP and other enterprise business data into Corporate datawarehouse and develop solutions to meet management reporting and analytical needs. SKILLS REQUIRED: • At least 8 years of experience with database architecture, dimensional modeling and design of high performance solutions in large corporate environments • At least 5 years experience with datawarehousing, business intelligence concepts and implementation. Must have experience creating, optimizing and generating reports from enterprise data stores. • At least 5 years of technical hands-on expertise using OLAP tools – especially Business Objects XIR2/XIR3 • At least 3 years of experience with Business Objects reporting functionalities such as Master Detailed, Slice and Dice, Filters, Drilling methodology, etc/ This is a full-time salaried position with Keane.
