Job Description
If you’re a dedicated, enthusiastic, experienced Business Office Management professional, preferably also with teaching experience, who believes in the power of sharing your knowledge, motivating others, and putting students first, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for talented instructors to join the team at our Local Campus for AM and PM on a part-time basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty with approved materials.
· Prepare lesson plans in accordance with course syllabi.
· Keep up-to-date with, and effectively use, technology and media in classes.
· Track student attendance and grades.
· Help the Campus to control attrition.
· Attend faculty/staff meetings and in-service meetings.
· Act as a conduit of information between campus administrators and students.
· Coordinate and obtain approval for field trips and guest speakers.
· Implement and adhere to all school policies.
· Participate in graduation ceremonies.
· Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned.
Skills Needed:
· Superior language ability/interpersonal communication skills
· Solid logic/reasoning ability
· Solid organizational skills
· Good math ability
· Good word processing/spreadsheet/access/Internet skills
· Accounting, payroll, and office management skills
Education/Experience Needed:
· At least four (4) years of practical work experience in specialty area being taught
· Education level at least equivalent to subject matter being taught
· BA or BS degree preferred
· Teaching experience desired
