Business Process Analyst - Retirement

 A Business Process Analyst is a member of the Global Business Process team working in our Retirement area to identify, develop and implement process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of retirement services. 
 
To fulfill this role, the Business Process Analyst will:

  • Provide administrative and testing support for business processes.  

  • Communicate and collaborate with business teams to implement changes in their business delivery model to recognize process improvement.  Document process, technology and performance measurement ideas (global and regional) to improve business productivity and quality. Serve as a process resource to support training efforts, and monitor/evaluate/resolve process and quality issues raised by the business delivery teams.

  • Maintain generic operational documentation describing the standard business delivery model.

  • Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new tools/technology that improve process.

  • Collaborate with colleagues from other centers globally to share ideas and leverage local initiatives globally.

  • Identify, implement, collect and review performance measurement metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, to measure improvements in operational efficiency.

  • Provide project co-ordination support to global business process project leads by assisting with project organization, issues logs and related follow-ups, and meeting facilitation.


  • Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Studies, Business, Mathematics, Commerce, Information Technology, or related

  • 2 years relevant work experience

  • Experience with performing business process reviews a plus

  • Knowledge of defined benefit pension concepts and/or actuarial valuations a plus

  • Advanced Microsoft and Excel skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective facilitation skills for conducting meetings

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Show initiative, enjoy working in a team environment.
