JOB INFORMATION
Operate with considerable latitude in performing highly complex operational functions and/or project management functions within an office or business unit. Using knowledge of corporate administrative procedures, advance or conclude processing of a variety of duties needed by staff for the work of the unit. Provide value-added expertise in developing new concepts, techniques, and standards. Utilize wide-ranging experience to conduct research and problem-solving. May operate in a lead role within the team.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform varied business functions within a business unit or on a project to advance the work of the group. May conduct research, schedule and plan activities, coordinate and prepare deliverables and communications, and provide training support.
Recommend, interpret, and/or implement company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Devise creative and effective solutions.
Communicate with clients, service providers, or corporate administrative units in coordinating services, deliverables, or meetings. Perform a lead role in compiling information for business unit or project meetings or for meetings with other units.
May operate in a lead capacity on programs or services specific to the office. Produce analyses, reports, and schedules for use by the business unit or project team or for communicating to others. Recommend alternatives to ensure positive outcomes.
Serve as principal point of contact in responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.
Identify and facilitate installation of technology enhancements to support business needs.
Assume a lead role in communicating processes, activities, or requirements of the business unit or project to clients or other business units.
Compile budget data considering actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses. Review, monitor, and analyze expenditures and explain variances.
May provide guidance or support to less experienced Administrative Specialists.
May perform highly complex administrative projects or participate as a team member on projects at the highest level of complexity.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
- Area of Study: Business or Finance preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 6 years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of Business Process Management methodology.
- Strong systems requirements definition
- Strong Business Process Definition.
- Experience with Documentum or Tibco BPM tools preferred
