There is an immediate employment opportunity in the Development Department for a Business Requirements Analyst.  The job responsibilities for this position will consist of critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, and abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding.


 


The successful candidate for this position will have prior software development and design or development experience.  This can be in any language although familiarity with Java/JSP is a plus. This candidate must have familiarity with the web development and software development management processes, as well as an understanding of the concept of agile (non-waterfall) project management approaches.  A team lead or other management credential is an indicator of this but not strictly required.  Experience level of at least three years of job experience in a technical project field is required.  This could be as a management consultant, software development manager, technical requirements manager, etc. Prior experience with documenting business requirements in written form specifications is a must.  The successful candidate will possess excellent spoken and written communication skills.  These are essential to be an effective liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
