About the Job
•Acquires new commercial accounts by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment and referral solicitation in assigned territory. •Prepares and executes customer sales application, arranging for installation date, collection and remittance of revenues so the customer installation and billing is accurate, working closely with technical department. •Demonstrates knowledge of products, services and rates and represents the product and Company in a professional manner. •Systematically reviews assigned territory to insure that commercial customers are contacted on a prescribed, systematic basis. •Maintains required record-keeping and reporting of commercial sales and service activities. •Contacts commercial customers for pending disconnects, changes of service or in follow-up to installation. •Other duties as assigned
Required Skills: EDUCATION: Bachelors degree and/or the recognized equivalent in work experience. Two years of business-to-business selling. Knowledge of contract negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
EXPERIENCE: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Understanding of cable data, telephony, Vo/IP, TCP/IP static wireless networking products
