The Business Services Manager will manage Westin's overall administrative functions across the company. The areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to; oversight of the administrative team across the company, corporate governance, management of business systems, IT, Facilities management, HR and benefit administration, document management & control, policy & procedure compliance, and management of external services in support of business services. This position will be a leader in the organization and must be knowledgeable in all areas of the business and be capable of collaborating and communicating with all members of the management team as well as external vendors and partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of all business services throughout the firm
- Coordination of all corporate governance functions for Westin, WEM, and Canada
- Management of all company-wide facilities including IT and phone systems, leases, or other as necessary
- Creation and maintenance of corporate wide document management and record keeping practices and procedures
- Administration and oversight of Westin's Benefit and HR functions
- Management of internal and external recruiting team
- Coordination of all business licensing and registrations across company
- Balance workload of various staff within business services organization
- Leader in verbal and written communication in the coordination of corporate messaging
Job Requirements
- 8 plus years of strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 5 plus years
- Experience working for a technology-based company is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing Corporate Administrative Services, Human Resources and Benefits, and Information Technology
- Skills should include organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
- Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products
