Responsible for the daily supervision of the business office staff for preparing a variety of reports and for answering questions regarding patient accounts and charges.

Requirements include:

•Associate Degree or better is required.
•Strong billing and coding experience required.
•One year experience in business and office procedures, machines, and dealing with the public.
•Prior experience in an ambulatory care setting, physician office, or clinic is required.
•Skill in performing work promptly and accurately.
•Knowledge of basic office procedures and operations. Operates basic office equipment such as copy machine, PC, adding machine, typewriter, microfiche, and fax.
• Solid competencies in assessment, interpersonal, and critical thinking.
• Cultivate professional growth and development.
• Support and fulfill the mission and values of SSM.
