Position Summary/General Responsibilities:
Work with business units in defining and documenting requirements for File Server and application servers supported within the USIS infrastructure.
This will include identification and verification of hardware, software and processes within these environments, understanding business processes and possible impact through changes within these systems as we look to standardize and implement a more sustainable storage structure.
Tasks include:
• Documenting Business Requirements
• Working with Storage, Server and Vendors in establishing and documenting solution.
• Establish testing and verification process for proposed solution
• Work with Business Units through migration and implementation
• Support post-implementation.
Required Experience:
- Understanding of Window's File Server structures
- Understanding of user access groups
- Strong documentation skills
