Procom Services is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract position based with our client in Falmouth, Maine. This position requires the following:
Job Description:
This contractor will report to the Senior Manager of Technology in US Segment Technology Solutions (USTS) and will have primary focus on working closely with Basel Lending Data Mart (BLDM) Team, the US Business and Technology Solutions team and the external vendors to assist with the implementation of an enterprise-wide Basel II solution..
This role will also be integral in developing the Commercial portfolio source data requirements for the US Basel program and supporting the data mapping and quality efforts from source, through the BLDM to CRDM and out to the DDV modeling data views and to RWA fro Capital Reporting. This important role will require strong liaison with US business partners in Commercial Banking and Finance, as well as an attention to detail to proactively find and resolve data gaps.
As this is a senior business analyst role, the contractor will be expected to operate independently at most times, while ensuring business direction is adhered to. The candidate should have a proven history of effective client relationship management skills and advanced technical analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Define system development specifications, technical requirements, test cases and/or plans and identify system modifications required to meet the overall USTS SDLC processes.
• Manage all data feeds and peripheral system requirements related to the BLDM complex suite of applications and modeling data.
• Meet regularly with the stakeholders to provide status on issues/requests and to prioritize requests for the upcoming period.
• Provide weekly status to the Retail Project Manager and Technology Program Manager on issues, and project status.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance all technical documentation and support material used by USTS for supporting the BLDM business and its applications.
SKILLS:
• 4+ yrs of experience of Basel II Commercial and Corporate Credit Lending
• 4+ yrs of experience of HP Quality Center
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Good understanding of Financial Products including Loans and other Assets
• Ability to articulate business requirements into technical specifications
