Bruce Foods Corporation – Business Systems Analyst - Manufacturing

Known for our famous "Original" Louisiana brand hot pepper sauce, Cajun Injector Products, Bruce's Yams and Casa Fiesta Mexican food items, we manufacture a variety of more than 350 food products under nine premium brands - all authentic, all delicious and all natural.  Bruce Foods boasts two number one national brands and several significant category brand leaders.

We are looking for someone to fill a system development and reporting position.  This person will design, develop, implement and maintain SQL, Access and Excel based reports.  They should have a strong business and accounting background.  This person will also become a major technical partner in a new ERP implementation in the near future and will be primarily responsible for recreating current reporting in the new ERP package.

Duties

• Create, run and maintain reports in Access, SQL and Excel
• Assist with ERP implementation
• Software administration
• Sales, production, logistics, financial and executive dashboard reporting
• Investigate any anomalies based on reports. Work with appropriate contacts to understand any deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  
  

Skills and Experience and Job Knowledge

• Bachelors or Degree in Business, MIS, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 yrs relevant experience
• Expert Excel and database skills
• ERP implementation experience
• AS400 experience
• SQL and Access database
• EDI
• Warehouse management
• Manufacturing
• Demonstrates knowledge and work experience in multiple functional areas
• Competent interpersonal and group communication skills (includes verbal, written, and presentation)
• Business intelligence tools (Cognos)
• Requires ability to translate business needs into requirements documentation. Identify problems and execute process improvements
