Our client in Richmond, VA is looking for a Business Systems Analyst for a long term contract with their organization.

Responsibilities/Duties:

·         Advocate for specific business areas within the Clearinghouse user community.

·         Coordinate, prioritize, and manage Information Technology issues for business area.

·         Applicant will be responsible for requirements analysis in support of maintenance and/or capital projects.

·         Provide interpretation and research for regulatory issues as they relate to Information Technology and the business area.

·         Provide interpretation, procedural guidance and task prioritization for cross matrixed IT technical resources.

·         Analyze and interpret Sarbanes Oxley General Computing Control guidance for management and staff as necessary.

Qualifications:

·         Four year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or technical equivalent with computer related experience preferred.

·         Three + years experience in IT automation, supporting various databases and information systems preferred.

·         Experience in a power physicals and/or derivative trading environment a plus.

·         Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·         Ability to work with all levels of management and to function on a team in a dynamic fast paced environment.

·         Strong organization and communication skills, proven time management capabilities and the ability to work independently. Highly customer focused, a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly.
