We have an immediate need for a Business Systems Consultant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Business Systems Consultant 3
Experience Level:
- 4 year degree plus 3-5 years experience.
Description:
- Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of moderately complex to complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
- Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
- Prepares specifications for system changes and/or systems testing.
- Provide extensive data analysis and reporting in support of Data Center integration initiatives.
- Will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define data requirements and identify data sources, compile data from multiple cross-business sources, provide complex analysis of data, and present findings at an executive summary level to assist with integration-related data center initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Experience and aptitude with Oracle, or another DBMS (i.e. strong SQL and data modeling knowledge)
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel
- Experience mining data, analyzing, and generating reports and graphs to be consumed at various levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and research problems/generate solutions
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a group environment
- Proven ability to work in a virtual environment
- Detail oriented with effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and provide timely completion of assigned tasks
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience with Crystal Reports
- Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint uses/capabilities
