Bachelors Degree. MBA desirable. Concentration in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering preferred. 5-8 years of direct and federal related procurement/contracts industry experience.
Must be extremely knowledgeable of the requirements contained in procurement directives -- Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR), and Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC) procedures, -- sufficient to make difficult and responsible determinations on an extensive body of procurement processes and techniques used for the acquisition of goods and services in a complex multiple products environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of inventory systems, to independently assess, through analytical techniques, turnover and replenishment requirements and to make favorable decisions in determining adequacy of lead-time and economic order quantities. Sound knowledge of the WSRC procurement system sufficient to provide programmatic support to line management in identifying, planning and approving procurement actions. Must posses a thorough understanding of computer technology sufficient to develop, implement and execute procurement analytical techniques.
