We are seeking a Buyer/Material Planner to add to our team!  If you are passionate about customer service and are able to source product to support business commitments in a fluid, fast pace manufacturing environment then you need to apply.

We are looking for a customer focused, flexible candidate that can accurately plan and source product to meet our sales, inventory, delivery, cost and quality commitments.  This position is responsible for placing timely purchase orders, managing safety stock levels to support a 100% fulfillment rate, negotiating with suppliers, inventory management of materials within QE and at outside processing locations, and ensuring correct information with import/export personnel by conducting audits of import documentation and transaction information.

The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal & written communication skills, be able to manage time effectively in an independent environment, have analytical problem solving abilities as well as possess a high level of computer skills (Excel/Word).  A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems experience (JD Edwards a plus) preferred. Flat rolled and prepainted metal experience is also a plus.
