Buyer/Planner

Fast paced aerospace machine shop needs an experienced Buyer/Planner.  The industries we serve include aerospace, defense, entertainment and cryogenics.

The company has been in business for 30 years.

Job Functions

Purchase materials for new and repeat jobs.  Must be familiar with purchasing metal products and coordinating outside processing.  Work closely with shop management ensuring on-time deliveries.  Maintains manufacturing schedules by identifying and resolving problems.  Organize daily scheduling with company driver for pick up and deliveries of processes.  Work with quality assurance in support of supplier corrective actions.  Inventory tracking and management.  Knowledge of AS9100B is desired.

Qualifications

Must have Microstoft Excel and Word experience.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must have prior purchasing experience.  Must work well with others in a fast paced environment.
