A well established international electronics components manufacturing & distribution company is seeking for a buyer/scheduler.

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  
  Have 5+ years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.


• 
  
  Have experience managing Production schedule.


• 
  
  Understanding and experience in JIT, TQM, KANBAN and other world class manufacturing practices supporting current and enabling further growth of organization.


• 
  
  Strong working knowledge MRP and PC database management software (MSA500 highly preferred.)


• 
  
  Good understanding of forms and flow of BOMs, Travelers, Requisitions, RMSs, DMRs, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Purchase (and return) of required materials, components and parts to support production and sales requirements.


• 
  
  Communicate with internal/external customer and vendors regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries.


• 
  
  Support Engineering in material acquisitions during new project development.


• 
  
  Build and maintain schedule for subassemblies and final assemblies.
