The Medical Assisting Instructor is directly responsible for the following:
A. Providing daily classroom instruction in a timely, meaningful, and appropriate manner.
B. Safety and security of the students under his/her direct supervision.
C. Delivering the prescribed curriculum in an appropriate manner.
D. Insuring an educational milieu at all times.
E. Delivering quality customer service on a continual basis.
F. Enforcing and upholding the policies of the American Professional Institute.
G. Enforcing and upholding the vision of the American Professional Institute.
H. Completing required paperwork in a timely manner.
I. Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Medical Assisting Instructor shall meet the following criteria prior to being employed:
A. Graduate of an accredited institution and licensed in the State of GA as a Practical Nurse,
B. Minimum of two years of occupational experience,
C. Equivalent combination of education and experience with skills, knowledge, evaluation, and to research activities related to the education of medical assisting student,
D. Previous teaching experience preferred.
