Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a CBRN Analyst/Operational Planner. This position is located in Anniston, Alabama. This part-time position applies journeyman/mid-level technical and operational protection support knowledge and experience to support the development, implementation, and/or operations of all hazards/full spectrum protection programs. These programs include training and readiness, emergency management, combating weapons of mass destruction, and CBRN defense issues related to client goals, mission and critical assets. This position works under the direction and supervision of the manager with latitude for independent action and/or decision.

Position Responsibilities

1. Supports the development, implementation, and/or operations of client all hazards protection programs or specified components.
2. Conducts requirement analysis and capability assessments.
3. Develops, initiates, and/or completes research tasks in support of operations defense protection projects/tasks.
4. Assists in policy and/or program development through independent tasks and/or project assignments.
5. May conduct protection-related planning, to include but not limited to strategic plans, operations plans, emergency management, technology roadmaps in support of the client and with oversight by senior technical personnel.
6. May assist in the development, review, and conduct analysis of readiness evaluation tasks, conditions, standards, measures, and/or criteria.
7. May assist in the development of training, exercise, and/or readiness evaluation tasks.
8. May conduct training, exercise and/or readiness evaluation tasks within the limits of their own training, certification, and expertise.
9. May conduct and/or support protection operational assessments in support of client, to include but not limited to military operations, force protection, installation protection, homeland security, and anti-terrorism activities.
10. May provide guidance on the selection, employment, maintenance, sustainment, issue, and/or use of protection-related equipment with the appropriate personal experience and certification.
11. May provide technical leadership on projects.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Bachelor's in Emergency Management or related area.
- 5-10 years military experience in the CBRN environment.
- The candidate must have excellent writing, analytical and research skills; additionally excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must be self motivated with the ability to manage his or her own time and work with minimal supervision.
- Success in this position requires effective interpersonal skills and communications skills, as the incumbent interacts frequently with users and managers.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent deadlines, and the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions are critical.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Joint/component command headquarters experience as a plans writer/developer in CBRN is highly desired.
- A background in the Air Force or Navy specializing in CBRN, superior writing skills and previous work with military service manuals and report writing is a plus.
