Agilysys has an open requisition for a CCIE Responsible for providing technical support to sales personnel and customers in the field and calls on customer accounts with the sales staff and demonstrates and advises customers on software, platform, and/or network configurations and capabilities.

This position covers the central region and has an approximate 40% travel requirement. You will work from your home office.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies customer requirements.
• Evaluates alternatives and makes product recommendations regarding software, platform, and/or network configurations.
• Accompanies sales personnel on customer visits to discuss requirements and to perform demonstrations.
• Pro-actively initiates customer contact as part of the total sales team effort.
• Makes technical marketing presentations on software, platform, and/or network issues and software vendors which Agilysys represents.
• Works in coordination with customers and sales staff to resolve software, platform, and/or network design/configuration issues.
• Provides technical training to sales personnel. Evaluates new products and keeps abreast of changes and updates in product lines through manufacturer's training, beta testing and other sources.
• Responsible for advising and documenting the technical plan within the assigned account plan.

We require an active CCIE plus Cisco core technologies on data center, routing switching, security and LAN / WAN.
