Driver Recruiting experience is preferred; applicants with sales experience and strong communications skills will be considered. Trucking industry experience is helpful, but not mandatory. Safety must be a personal value, as the drivers hired will share the highways with our families and friends.
Summary:
The Driver Recruiter is responsible for communication with potential driver candidates through various methods including inbound and outbound calls, e-mail, websites and other methods of formal and informal communication. The Driver Recruiter will quickly establish relationships with applicants and sell company programs with an objective to hire. The Driver Recruiter will qualify applicants and make key judgments resulting in sound hiring decisions, and will be responsible for achieving both individual and team recruiting objectives, key factors and quotas.
Requirements:
· Highly motivated to meet and exceed recruiting goals and key factors.
· Ability to remain focused and organized in a fast-paced, call center environment.
· Professional, courteous and pleasant phone skills.
· Strong sales skills and ability to close on a potential applicant.
· Computer proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, and ability to navigate the Internet and learn company-specific operating programs
· Time management skills to maximize applicant contact and hire opportunities.
· Organizational ability to effectively monitor and report applicant status, manage current applicants and potential future contacts.
· Ability to add to the unit spirit of teamwork.
