CDL Drivers Needed - Class A and B                                                                                                          
 We are currently seeking CDL Class A and CDL Class B Drivers to add to our growing company. The purpose of this position is to make deliveries in the assigned area in a timely and efficient manner.    
 

This position requires an individual with safe and clean driving record. The individual should have at least 2 years of CDL A or B driving experience and have a strong working knowledge of the NJ/NY metro area. Candidates must also pass a DOT physical, DOT drug/alcohol-screening test, background check and have a clean MVR record.

If you are applying for the CDL A position you must have at least 2 years experience.

Areas of Responsibility:

·         Must maintain equipment properly and perform all pre-trip inspections.

·         Provide driving services on a mandatory dispatch basis with whatever vehicle assigned. (Drivers hours will also vary based on work demand).

·         Driver is required to assist in the loading and unloading process and perform inside deliveries when necessary.

·         Prepare, fill out and hand in all necessary paperwork including but not limited to: bills of lading, claims, exception reports and driver logs.

·         Communicate with dispatch after each delivery is completed.

·         Ability to maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.

·         Adherence to DOT regulations.

·         Work safely in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.

·         Make good decisions with minimal supervision, while on the road.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

·         Two (2) plus years of driving with a CDL Class A and/or Class B

·         Valid medical card able to pass DOT drug test, background and MVR check

·         Able to work independently and in a fast paced environment

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Forward thinker who is detail orientated

·         Willingness to get the job done and able to multi-task

·         Ability to lift 75+ pounds

·         Able to read a map
