CE Operations Manager - Chapel Hill, NC
ARAMARK Healthcare is seeking a CE Operations Manager for a UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. UNC is a large and complex teaching hospital with aggressive growth plans. Strong technical team on-site. It is consistently rated as one of the best 50 hospitals in the country. The CE Operations Manager (OM) and the Program Manager (PM) share the responsibility of developing and implementing clients' and ARAMARK's organizational strategies, policies, and practices. The OM leads the day-to-day technical activities ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with established expectations, schedules, and budgets. Continuously meets with clients and team members to review current operations and find additional opportunities. Normally the OM manages service delivery in a matrix management role; but must be able to assume program management responsibilities during the PM's absences. Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage technical teams and the professional development of all their members.
- Build well balanced teams capable of consistently achieving the highest applicable benchmarks.
- Develop and implement service delivery strategies that meet regulatory requirements and client's expectations.
- Work closely with supervisors and staff to ensure that critical tasks are properly completed on timely basis.
- Facilitate and optimize the use of internal and external resources in order to achieve the highest service quality at the most effective cost.
- Actively and creatively seek savings opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with ARAMARK's Supply Chain initiatives and policies.
- Provide strong technical leadership, innovative insights, and effective project management to assist clients and staff in addressing complex medical equipment challenges.
- Build relationships and develop partnerships with key vendors and clients.
- Establish regular and fluid communications with all levels of clients' personnel and continuously seek growth opportunities.
- Foster cooperation, collaboration, partnership and integration with all compliance programs and efforts.
- Provide clear focus and direction by confronting challenges, identifying alternatives, and leading remediation efforts.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the position as needed.

Skills and Attributes Necessary: - Minimum 4 years working as a Clinical Equipment/Engineering Manager with direct responsibility over people and operations.
- Position requires analytical, organizational and communication skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- Additional degree in business administration desirable.
Must be able to demonstrate:
- Familiarity with a broad spectrum of medical instrumentation and equipment.
- Good understanding of the medical equipment management functions within the patient care environment.
- Ability to select the best communication style for the intended audience
