The Outreach Center is a wonderful example of the proverb “from small beginnings come great things”. For 20 years, the Outreach Center has helped thousands of families in poverty through the provision of a full continuum of services; including licensed substance abuse recovery and behavioral health treatment, emergency and transitional shelter, skills training, housing, and employment services. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced leader to build on a wonderful foundation of existing comprehensive services, highly dedicated and skilled staff, and an incredibly supportive Board and Community. The Outreach Center will be opening a 128-bed substance abuse/mental health treatment center in a modern facility. Start-up and first year revenues have been secured and we are searching for an executive to lead the transition of clients/staff/services, direct the new facility., and oversee the expansion of all other Center programs serving people in need.

Ideal candidates should:

- be mission driven and passionate about serving clients with addictive disorders

- have a strong business & entrepreneurial capability

- have experience with diverse funding streams, particularly private/pay 3rd party payers in addition to governmental funders

- possess excellent communications skills and a strong track record of close working relationships with external stakeholders and funders, a Board of Directors, consumers, and staff

- have a track record of being both a visionary and strategic leader

- being able to inspire and motivate others in the search of providing on-going opportunities for innovative ways to care for citizens in need of service.

- be seen by others as having a reputation for honesty, integrity & credibility

- having experience in a faith based organization would be helpful

- be Master’s prepared or have a minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting serving people with addictive disorders
