About the Job
CFO Highway Patrol Retirement System, a $700 million public pension, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the Executive Director. The successful candidate must be an ethically-centered, effective problem-solver who thinks and works independently. CPA preferred, with other relevant designations also given favorable consideration. Must submit to background check & drug testing. EOE. Primary responsibilities include: Manage accounting & financial functions of the system Prepare the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report pursuant to OH, GASB, & GFOA guidelines Manage relationships with Treasurer of State, custodian/commercial bank, external auditors, investment managers and IT vendors Work cooperatively with other OH retirement system personnel on projects of mutual interest As an attachment, please forward a resume with salary history to dweiss@ohprs.org
