PRI is a top Executive Recruiting firm that focues on the placement of C-Level and unique, hard to fill positions.
Currently looking for a seasoned CFO with experience in the manufacturing and specialty chemcial industries. The CFO will be responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry. This position will report directly to the President and CEO of the company and will supervise either directly or indirectly 5 – 10 individuals in various departments throughout the organization in multiple locations, including international locales. Will manage at least 2 Controllers, 1 IT Manager and 1 HR / Administrative professional among others.
Among other things, the qualified CFO will come from manufacturing and have the following deep skills: · Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the the CEO/President and the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities. · Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. · Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges. · Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline. · Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
