CFO-level Consultant Needed!
About the Job
Very unique and flexible opportunity for experienced CFO-level Consultant looking to use knowledge and expertise within a very successful growing restaurant franchise operation.
We are a progressive, successful and growing company in the restaurant industry looking for a strong CFO-level consultant to develop strategy and implement change.
We are looking for an experienced executive to serve 1 or 2 days per week as an expert internal consultant to our owners and senior management team. Expectations would include a minimum of 1 day per week in our Newton, MA office and possibly another day consulting from home or a location of your choice. This may be perfect for a retired executive or someone who is interested in consulting or re-entering the workplace in a flexible yet fulfilling and challenging capacity.
The responsibilities would include:
Consulting on the management and development of financial strategy. Partnering with the owners and management team on operational and strategic issues as they arise; providing strategic recommendations based on creative financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
Providing coaching and development for key finance team members.
Engaging other members of the senior management team—providing financial expertise wherever possible in order to positively support our evolving strategy and operational delivery.
Financial and operational management consulting
The successful candidate will:
Be a seasoned and mature leader – and must have CFO-level experience within a 100 million dollar + organization. At least 15 years of broad finance experience preferred, with strength in evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Experience managing finance (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a multi unit restaurant or retail operation a plus. These skills will most likely come from a combination of professional experience and education including a BS, CPA/CMA and MBA.
