Position Summary
- Lead and direct the advertising sales and support staff to achieve revenue goals.
- Develop reports and provides data to support classified advertising teams to achieve goals.
- Provide leadership, performance management, staffing/training, planning/administration and customer relations for classified display department.
- Develop strong relationships with advertising clients.
- Work as an instrumental team member of the managing team in establishing the strategic direction for the organization.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business
Essential Skills
- Experience in the the Auto and Real Estate industries
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage a variety of priorities. Must have proven ability in making sound decisions.
- Strong track record in leading and motivating a staff and in developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Reliable, accurate and thorough yet flexible to meet changing market conditions.
- Organized and enthusiastic self-starter.
- Demonstrated experience with planning and budgeting.
- Minimum five years in print media/internet management experience and three years in sales management.
- Internet application and product development saavy
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and web search engines and related databases
